One Plugin Instead of Six: Introducing CCMS Commerce Controls

Every WooCommerce store ends up with the same pile of tiny plugins: one for decimal quantities, one for a checkout field, one for guest accounts, one for the My Account menu. Each one is another thing that can break, another update to track, another script the storefront has to load. We built one plugin that replaces the pile.

Why fewer plugins wins

Every active plugin adds its own database queries, its own JavaScript and CSS, and its own surface area for something to go wrong after a WordPress or WooCommerce update. A store running six single-purpose plugins to get decimal quantities, a checkout field tweak, guest registration, hidden prices, a reordered My Account menu, and a bit of performance cleanup is carrying six times the risk for features that could live in one settings screen.

CCMS Commerce Controls is that one settings screen. Every feature is independent and switched off until you turn it on, so a store that only wants decimal quantities loads only decimal quantities. Nothing else fires.

What it replaces

  • Decimal Quantities — sell by the half kilo or the quarter metre, with 0 to 6 decimal places.
  • Quantity Rules — a minimum, maximum and step per product, with store-wide defaults, enforced on product pages, the cart and checkout, including the Cart and Checkout blocks.
  • Checkout Field Editor — hide, require, relabel and reorder classic checkout fields.
  • Guest Auto-Registration — create a customer account when a guest places an order and link the order to it, without touching orders from logged-in customers.
  • Force Login and Login Redirect — require login to browse the store, and send customers to My Account after they sign in.
  • Hide Prices from Guests — a login prompt instead of prices, and no purchasing for logged-out visitors.
  • Thank-You Page Redirect — send customers to your own page after an order, with the order details if you want them.
  • My Account Menu Editor — drag and drop to reorder, rename, hide, or add custom links to the My Account sidebar.
  • Performance Cleanup — load WooCommerce CSS and JS only on store pages, disable cart fragments elsewhere, and remove dashboard widgets and marketing clutter.

Built for WooCommerce as it is today

It declares compatibility with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) and with the Cart and Checkout blocks, so it doesn't trigger the incompatibility warnings older plugins do on a modern WooCommerce install. Quantity rules work on the block-based checkout as well as the classic one; only the checkout field editor is classic-checkout only, and the settings screen tells you so if your store has switched to the block.

Every option is off by default and none of them touch orders, prices, or stock on their own. Turn features on one at a time and check your storefront after each, especially with the performance options — if your header shows a live mini cart, leave "Disable cart fragments" off.
